Eco-transport
Travel as environmentally friendly as possible! Here are some transports that you may prefer to the plane or the car.
- Train: it emits on average 6 times less CO2 than an airplane. More ecological and economical method to favor when the opportunity arises.
- Ferries / boats: the Slow Travel movement favors slow transport methods. You will be able to explore the scenery, meet the local people who travel on board the ferries and enjoy the adventure.
- Bus: nearly 140 kilos of CO2 emissions and 30 kilos of energy less than the car. To go to work, move around a city, get in touch with the locals. More ecological and economical.
- Bike: rent a bike to get around your work area. Much less polluting than all other means of transport. The most ecological means, to be preferred when making small or medium journeys.
