  • Capital: Copenhagen

  • Population: 5.83 million inhabitants

  • Climate: oceanic with long, cold winters and milder summers. 

  • Currency and official language: Danish is the official language, and the Danish krone is used as currency. 

  • What to do ? : Nature (rabjerg Mile dune), cycling, museums, castles.

  • Cities: Copenhagen, Billund, Aarhus, Aalborg

There is no organization specifically dedicated to Wwoofing in Estonia, so you should consult the section “Wwoofing independent”. In Estonia, there are only 9.  

Some general information:

  • Capital: Tallinn

  • Population: 1,331 million inhabitants

  • Currency and official language: Euro,  Estonian

  • Climate: continental Baltic: very cold winters (it is the coldest country of the Baltic countries), mild and moderately rainy summer.

There is no organization specifically dedicated to Wwoofing in Finland, so you should consult the section "Wwoofing independent". There are approximately  51 independent hosts in Finland.

 

 

Some general information:

 

  • Capital: Helsinki

  • Population: 5.53 million inhabitants

  • Climate: cold continental, with very cold snowy winters, temperatures are milder in summer and can reach 30 degrees. 

  • Currency and official language: Finnish and Swedish are the two official languages of the country, the currency used is the euro. 

  • What to do? : Dog sled rides with Huskis, Santa Claus village in Lapland, snowmobiles, safaris in the snowy plains, northern lights, reindeer.

Activities: Pet sitting,  Ecological agriculture (no pesticides, no chemicals),  Manufacture of organic food products and artisanal products

  • Climate: very varied, mainly continental, Norway is a milder country than one might think. 

  • Currency and official language: Norwegian is the official language, the Norwegian krone is used there.

  • What to do? : Lots of sporting activities (hiking, cycling, kanoë-kayaking), nature (fjord, northern lights, fauna, Norwegian glaciers), culture (museums, stave churches, Samis).

  • Capital: Warsaw

  • Population: 37.95 million inhabitants

  • Climate: continental with very cold winters and mild but rainy summers.

  • Currency and official language: Polish is the official language of the country and the Zlotys are used as currency. 

  • What to do? : Visit of camps, Wieliczka salt mine, pub, zakopane station, energylandia, Bialoieza forest, Marlbork castle, Ojcow and Tatra national park.
